The CREATE Capable Kid Framework

REAL FRIENDS. REAL SKILLS. REAL CONFIDENCE.

CREATE Crew helps children build practical abilities they can use in everyday life while belonging to a consistent local Crew. The question we want every family to be able to answer: What can my child do now?

Explore the framework

Things I can do now

Eight pathways for a capable life.

These are not school standards or attendance points. Each pathway gives children real opportunities to try, practice, contribute, and show what they can do.

Attendance never completes a capability.

A skill is recognized when a child reasonably demonstrates participation or ability at their own readiness level.

Take Care

Personal responsibility, self-care, home independence, and organization.

Cook & Nourish

Kitchen confidence, food preparation, and basic nutrition.

Money & Enterprise

Financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and practical money confidence.

Make & Build

Hands-on creativity, tools, measuring, and problem solving.

Safety & Ready

Age-appropriate everyday safety and preparedness.

Speak & Connect

Communication, friendship, confidence, and teamwork.

Explore & Grow

Outdoor competence, curiosity, nature, and exploration.

Help & Lead

Service, empathy, leadership, and community.

I CAN progression

Readiness matters more than a rigid age.

Leaders use age as guidance and meet children where they are ready to grow.

Three places to grow

Crew. Home. Community.

Crew is where children learn together. Home is where families see confidence become useful. Community is where children practice using their abilities in the real world.

Recognition with meaning.

CREATE achievements celebrate meaningful collections of demonstrated capabilities — no grades, rankings, public profiles, or scout-style systems.
